Medicaid and FIDE providers: Provider Network Management reminder

Please make sure to maintain and update your information directly within the Provider Network Management (PNM) system. The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM)/Maximus Help Desk is intended only for technical issues that providers cannot resolve on their own and should not be used to request that ODM or Maximus staff make updates on a provider's behalf.

Updates made in PNM may not appear immediately in managed care plan systems due to:

  • The time it takes for the provider to enter the update in PNM
  • ODM review and approval processes, when applicable
  • Processing and ingestion of updated data into managed care plan systems

To help ensure accurate provider records and minimize processing delays, providers are encouraged to review their PNM information regularly and submit updates directly through the system whenever changes occur.

For technical assistance with the PNM system, providers may:

  • Contact the ODM/Maximus Help Desk at 800-686-1516 or by email IHD@medicaid.ohio.gov.
  • Representatives are available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Eastern time.
  • Contact technical support using the self-service provider functions within the PNM module.

Cracking the code: D1110/D1120 and D4346

Use Code D1110/D1120 when, as a preventive procedure, you’re removing plaque, calculus and stains from permanent, primary or transitional dentition.

Use Code D4346 when, post oral evaluation, there’s determined to be moderate or severe gingivitis throughout the mouth without periodontitis. This code is indicated for patients with swollen, inflamed gingival tissue, generalized suprabony pockets and moderate to severe bleeding on probing.

Reminder: Recredentialing

Recredentialing is required every 36 months. Delta Dental’s provider records staff will reach out via email to initiate the recredentialing process.

To learn more about the Provider Application and Credentialing Toolkit (PACT), our self-service credentialing tool, visit the “Credentialing” page on our website.
