The Delta Dental Foundation awards Scholarships and Student Leadership Awards to students who demonstrate excellent academic and leadership skills and who exhibit a passion for dentistry.

Two students from each dental school in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana are awarded a Delta Dental Foundation Scholarship and one graduating dental student from each school is awarded a Student Leadership Award. Recipients are selected by the dean of their schools of dentistry.

Since 1982, the Delta Dental Foundation has awarded more than 250 scholarships and 74 Student Leadership Awards. Many of our past scholarship and leadership award recipients have reached out to improve oral health care in needy communities around the world and in their own communities.
