We Do Dental. Better.
Our Experience is Better.
Delta Dental is the largest, most experienced dental benefits carrier in the U.S., covering nearly 60 million people…that's more than one of every four Americans with dental benefits.
Delta Dental of Ohio with its affiliates in Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New Mexico, North Carolina, and Tennessee, comprise the second largest Delta Dental plan in the nation with more than 55 years of experience in administering dental benefits.
Our Access is Better.
Delta Dental offers the nation’s largest networks of dentists. Delta Dental’s network is made up of more than 268,000 dentist locations across the nation. In Ohio alone, 82 percent of practicing dentists participate with Delta Dental.
Through our contractual arrangements with dentists, there is no balance billing and dentists are paid directly, so there’s no paperwork for patients to file.
Our Technology is Better.
Delta Dental sets industry standards in operations and information management. We provide 24/7 access to information through online toolkits, and offer the most comprehensive, decision-driven reporting for our customers. In addition, our state-of-the-art claims processing system adjudicated more than 19 million claims in 2012 with 99 percent processed within 10 working days.
In addition, we have the largest dental claims data warehouse in the world located in our Research and Data Institute. Among other things, our expert analyses allow us to develop evidence-based benefits that reduce costs and improve health.
Our Service is Better.
Delta Dental is committed to providing the best service in the business. Don’t just take our word for it though. Ask our customers. More than 97 percent of benefit managers are satisfied with Delta Dental and 96 percent of enrollees would recommend us to others. Plus, our customers stay with us. Most of our customers have been with us for at least five years—and one in four has been with us for more than 20 years.
Our Value is Better.
Delta Dental’s sophisticated cost management measures and extensive networks saved our customers over $3.2 billion in 2012. That means lower claim costs for employers and lower out-of-pocket expenses for enrollees.
Simply put, we do dental. Better.
